Bukowski published extensively in small
literary magazines and with small presses beginning in the early 1940 and
continuing on through the year 1990. Some of these works include his poems
"written before jumping out", published by his friend and
fellow poet Charles Potts.
I heard of Bukowski in school when I studied the Beat Generation. I haven't read any of his books, but I know he has influence on chilean rappers like Matiah Chinaski.
